Frequently asked questions
How is reading time calculated?
Words divided by reading speed—238 words per minute by default for silent reading and 150 for speaking. You can change both.
Which readability formula is used?
It depends on the text language: Fernández Huerta for Spanish, Flesch Reading Ease for English, adapted Flesch formulas for Portuguese and German, Kandel & Moles for French, and an approximation for Indonesian.
What is a good keyword density?
There is no magic number. Write naturally; if a keyword is far above 2–3%, the text may read as repetitive.
