Privacy Policy

Browser-based tools. Most tools (for example Merge PDF, Compress Image, the QR code generator and scanner, calculators and the text analyzer) run entirely in your browser. Files, text, QR contents and values you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers.

Server-based tools. Word, PowerPoint and Excel to PDF and HTML to PDF upload your file to our server for processing. Input files are deleted as soon as processing finishes; results are deleted when you delete them after download and, in any case, automatically within one hour. We do not look at, analyze or reuse the content of these files.

HTML to PDF. If you enter a URL, our server visits that public web page to render it.

AI tools. AI PDF Summarizer and Translate PDF extract the text in your browser and send only that text to our AI provider to generate the result. We don't store the text or the result. The provider processes the data under its API terms; it is not used by us to train models.

To understand which tools are useful, the site counts events such as "page viewed" or "tool completed". Each event contains only the event name, the tool, the language and the page path. It contains no cookies, no identifiers, no IP address and never any content from your files or inputs. Events are stored as daily aggregate counters.

If you accept analytics cookies and the site operator has enabled it, Google Analytics is also loaded (see the Cookie Policy).

When you send the contact form we store your name, email address, subject and message to answer you. When you rate a tool, we store whether it was helpful, your optional comment and the tool and language. Both are deleted automatically after 12 months, or earlier on request.

Accounts are optional. If you create one, we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password (bcrypt), your language and the date of creation. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; this deletes your account data immediately.

To protect the service we apply rate limits based on your IP address. IP addresses are used transiently for this purpose. For the daily AI limit, we store a one-way hash of the IP address for at most two days. Server logs record the request method and path but not your IP address or the content of your files. Technical error reports are kept for 30 days.

If advertising is enabled, ads are provided by Google AdSense. The AdSense script is loaded only after you accept advertising cookies. Google may then use cookies to show and measure ads, including personalized ads. See Google's explanation of how it uses data from partner sites.

• OCR language data is downloaded from the jsDelivr CDN the first time you use OCR in a language.
• Exchange rates for the currency converter are fetched by our server from the Frankfurter API (European Central Bank data); your amounts are never sent.
• Email for account verification and password resets is sent through our email provider.
• Hosting providers process technical data (such as IP addresses) as required to deliver the website.

Where the GDPR applies, we process data to provide the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b)), based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and useful service with minimal data (Art. 6(1)(f)), and based on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. To exercise your rights, use the contact form.

The site is not directed at children under 14, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.

If you leave a comment on a blog article we store the name you enter, your e-mail address, the comment text and the date. Your e-mail address is never shown publicly and is used only to contact you about the comment if needed. A comment is visible only after we have approved it. We keep comments until we delete them or you ask us to remove yours: write to infobuzznexters@gmail.com. IP addresses are used only briefly to limit spam (a rate limit) and are not stored with the comment. Commenting sets no cookies.
